THE PLAY GARDEN
Welcome to The Play Garden class, a hands-on, outdoor adventure where children immerse themselves in nature, creativity, and messy, joyful exploration! Our small, intentionally curated playgroup combines the magic of mud kitchens, sensory crafts, tents and cozy hammocks, slackline balance challenges, and nature-inspired books—all designed to spark imagination, curiosity, and confidence.
Each week, children rotate through thoughtfully prepared stations that encourage open-ended play, problem-solving, and social connection, while developing fine and gross motor skills in a safe, supportive environment. From flower soup in the mud kitchen to bug-inspired crafts and wizardly potion-making, every session offers a new adventure that will have your little ones asking, “Can we play again next week?”
Why families love The Play Garden:
-
Mixed-age group (ages 18 months - 3 years old)
-

-

What To Expect At The Play Garden Class
The Play Garden is a stay and play class. Stay & Play classes are designed for young children and their caregivers to enjoy together in a warm, supportive environment. Rather than drop-off sessions, these classes invite you to stay, engage, and share in your child’s early learning experiences.
Each session includes a balance of free play and guided activities such as songs, stories, and simple crafts. This play-based approach encourages children to explore, create, and build confidence at their own pace—while feeling secure with a familiar adult nearby.
The Play Garden classes support:
-
Social development and early friendships
-
Confidence in new environments
-
Learning through hands-on play
-
Stronger parent-child connection
-
Inspiration for play and learning at home
These sessions also provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and be part of a welcoming community.

"Liesha's Play Garden class was so much fun! I'm always looking for new ways for my daughter to interact with nature and this class was filled with creative activities that she really enjoyed. There was plenty of time for child-led play balanced with more structured activities like storytime and a sweet craft project. It's clear that Liesha has a passion for working with children and her enthusiasm is contagious. We will be coming every week!"
