At Snails & Turkey Tails childhood is treasured, learning comes to life, and each day is filled with discovery, creativity, and growth in the natural world.

At Snails & Turkey Tails Nature School, we invite young children to experience the natural world as their classroom. Nestled in the lush surroundings of Northshore Park, The Woodlands, TX, our program nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on, outdoor learning. Each day is filled with discovery—watching wildlife, exploring trails, observing plants and insects, digging in the soil, and creating art inspired by nature. Children engage in open-ended play, guided exploration, and interactive lessons that promote cognitive, social, and physical development. In our small classes of 6–10 children, every child receives individualized attention, feels seen and valued, and gains the confidence to explore, ask questions, and learn at their own pace.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Snails & Turkey Tails is a thoughtfully designed nature-based early education program for young children. Blending child-led exploration with intentional, guided learning, each session supports foundational skills in early science, language, and social development—while fostering resilience, independence, and a lasting connection to the outdoors.
In a calm, small-group setting, children engage in seasonal, hands-on experiences that encourage focus, creativity, and confident participation.

Why Go With a Nature-Based Program?
Because the best classroom doesn’t have walls—it has trees!
Big Learning for Growing Humans
Nature lets kids use their whole bodies and whole hearts while they learn.
